The tents are spacious and are superbly decorated and appointed with a strong Afro-Asian Safari ambience to them.
Four of the tents are set to one side and make up Little Thakadu. Which is perfect for families or small groups of up to 8 people. Pull-out beds are available in these rooms for children sharing with parents.
For Thakadu River Camp the concept is unique in South Africa in that the community owns the lodge, with substantial benefits accruing back to the community itself. Because of this Thakadu River Camp has a phenomenal atmosphere due to the foundations upon which it is built. And the gratitude of the community which it is helping to support.
