Ndedema Lodge is a charming guesthouse in Clanwilliam in historic Park Street. Here you’ll find a number of 1820 settler houses. Ndedema Lodge has five en suite bedrooms each decorated with Cape antiques in period style and en suite bathrooms. There’s lots of attention to detail bathrobes for guests, complimentary sherry and fresh flowers in the rooms.
Outside Ndedema Lodge is surrounded by rose-filled gardens laid out on several levels. There’s a welcome swimming pool which is ideal for cooling off during the hot African summer days of the Cedarberg.

Clanwilliam makes the perfect base for exploring the surrounding Cedarberg mountains with its superb hiking trails and scenic mountain drives. Plus the spring flowers are always a drawcard for anybody visiting the Cedarberg.
Enjoy flower-viewing in the spring time and mountain walking throughout the year. Plus enjoy scenic drives into the magnificent Cederberg mountains with its spectacular mountain passes, rock formations and rock pools. Or visit one of the local rooibos farms for a tour, sample the indigenous rooibos tea or taste the excellent wines of the Cederberg Cellars. Alternatively you can head to Lamberts Bay on the West Coast, to visit Bird Island. Here you can enjoy an alfresco seafood lunch or dinner on the beach at Muisbosskerm.
