Lavender Manor is situated in the peaceful Voëlklip area of Hermanus on the Whale Coast. It offers spectacular sea and mountain views and warm, relaxed hospitality.
The seven en suite bedrooms are stylishly decorated with all modern comforts including percale linen, mini-fridge, wall safe, satellite TV and tea/coffee facilities. Situated just above the famous 'blue flag' Grotto Beach, and overlooking the magnificent Walker Bay, you are just two minutes walk to Grotto Beach and other scenic beaches as well as the popular cliff-path and various mountain trails in the Fern Kloof Nature Reserve of Hermanus. The property also have a family room consisting of double and a twin room, single bathroom and a lounge and TV room.
Lavender Manor is perfectly situated for whale watching, either from the cliff paths or the beaches. Overlooking the whale sanctuary of Walker Bay you will see many whales play in the bay. Recently Hermanus had 140 whales in the bay. Whale-watching by boat or even aerial whale-watching trips can also be arranged.
Lavender Manor has a large upstairs lounge with fireplace and fully licensed bar as well as two sundowner or whale-watching decks with sensational 360 degree views of the ocean and mountains.
Other facilities include secure off street parking and a large secluded garden with splash pool. The guesthouse is also close to two world class golf courses - Hermanus Golf Course (only 3 minutes away) and Arabella Golf Estate (30 minutes).
