Overview

Just a 10 minute easy drive out of Arusha town and 20 minutes from the airport lies the scenic crater lake named 'Duluti' by the local Meru people. Named after the crater Lake it straddles, Lake Duluti lodge is a wonderful countryside retreat on its shores.

Boasting idyllic scenery, a mild climate, stunning architecture and design, Lake Duluti Lodge offers a relaxing retreat in one of Tanzania's most famous landscapes in a region with a strong cultural heritage to share with guests.

Facilities and activities

Cool down with a dip in the 50 square metre rim flow swimming pool and relax on the sun beds in the beautifully landscaped lawn. If you wish to venture outside of the lodge, activities which can be arranged (at additional cost) from Duluti include bird watching or hiking in the Duluti Forest, canoeing on Lake Duluti and cultural tours into the local community.

Lake Duluti accommodation

All eighteen chalets are spacious and deliberately positioned to make the most of the views of the 30 acre working coffee farm but still ensuring maximum privacy. Each chalet at Lake Duluti has a private deck with a fantastic view of the ancient indigenous trees found in large numbers within the estate. Each room has a king size double/twin bed, a mosquito net, a mini bar, coffee station, plasma flat screen TV with satellite channels, intercom and international telephone line, internet connection, hair dryer, digital safe, walk through shower, free standing bathtub and a private toilet.
