The Lower Zambezi National Park is one of our favourite safari areas and combines well with all other areas of Zambia such as the South Luangwa National Park, Victoria Falls and even Kafue National Park. It is a rich and mesmerizing water sanctuary for wildlife - great herds of elephant, buffalo and impala, and small groups of warthog, zebra and baboon are drawn to the river and this in turn attracts lion, leopard and spotted hyena.
This three night fly-in safari departs from Lusaka but you can also connect the Lower Zambezi directly with the South Luangwa National Park or with Victoria Falls for an additional cost.
