Busanga Bush Camp in the north-western section of the Busanga is about as wild as you can get in today's world: an unfenced mosaic of expansive seasonal floodplains and ‘dambos’ (open grassy areas that sometimes fill up with rainwater). Busanga Bush Camp is perfectly situated for some of the best lion viewing in Africa. Though Busanga Bush camp was completely rebuilt, it retains its comfortable unpretentious ambience of Zambia.
Three well-appointed comfortable tents offer wall-to-wall views of the spectacular wildlife that frequents the plains in front of the camp. Indeed at Busanga Bushcamp the emphasis is firmly on the game-viewing rather than the décor. The Busanga Plains offers large herds of plains game and their predators, including leopard, wild dog, cheetah and prides of lion up to 20 strong. Sizeable herds of roan antelope, buffalo, blue wildebeest, puku and red lechwe are also part of the everyday scene at Busanga Bushcamp. Activities include game drives, walking safaris and night drives, led by qualified guides who are extremely knowledgeable about the area and its wildlife of Zambia and Africa.
