What are the luggage limits?

SAA has a luggage allowance of 20kg for the international flights. British Airways has a luggage allowance of 23kg for the international flights. If you travel business class you are allowed an extra 10kg. You are limited to only 12kg on any light aircraft safari flights during your tour, however you can usually store any additional luggage either at the airport luggage storage facility or at our Johannesburg offices for an additional fee.

What is the situation with regard to smoking and anti-smoking in South Africa?

Smoking is not permitted in public buildings or restaurants unless a designated part of the restaurant has been closed off for use by smokers. Thus many restaurants do not allow smoking inside the restaurant.
