Day 2 : At leisure at Bushmanskloof This wilderness lodge, set deep in the Cedarberg, is one of our favourites. A South African Natural Heritage site, Bushmanskloof offers the world’s largest open air art gallery with more than 130 pristine rock art sites, some dating back 10,000 years. Guided rock art walks and game drives in open Landrovers bring guests close to the indigenous game. Other activities include mountain biking and nature trails, abseiling, fly-fishing, canoeing, sampling the health and beauty spa, or simply relaxing by the pool or in the crystal clear rock pools of the Boontjies River. Mouth-watering cuisine is served in the glorious double storey thatched ‘boma’ with its open views over the starlit river at night.

Day 4 : Return to Cape Town After a final early morning activity or walk, you enjoy a leisurely brunch before being transferred back to Cape Town, arriving mid afternoon.
