Day 2 : On safari at Madikwe You enjoy open-vehicle game drives with an experienced ranger and tracker who work together to give you a deeper understanding of the wildlife and the natural cycles of the bush. Their bush knowledge, practical skills and love of nature promise you informative, exciting and rewarding encounters with the wildlife. Drives are in the early morning and late afternoon when game is most likely to be active.
You generally enjoy a game drive immediately after early morning tea and coffee, as the animals rise early to hunt in the cool of the day. The two to three hour drive finishes in time for a late breakfast, which will be keenly appreciated after your early morning start! After breakfast, you can go on an optional guided walk into the bush with a ranger, or you can simply relax around the lodge during the heat of the day. A late afternoon game drive will introduce you to some of the nocturnal animals and their predators before enjoying at atmospheric dinner back at the lodge.

Day 4 : Flight back to Johannesburg After a final early morning game drive and brunch, you board your scheduled safari flight back to Johannesburg.
