This delightful nine day golf safari will entertain the most discerning players with optional excursions for the entertainment of non-playing guests. Begin by travelling east towards the spectacular Drakensberg escarpment. Play at Leopards Creek or visit God's Window and Pilgrim's Rest. Travel through Swaziland with golf at the Royal Swazi Club or Swaziland sight-seeing including Mlilwane Game Reserve. South to Zululand for game-viewing in Hluhluwe Game Reserve and St Lucia. Play one of Durban's finest, Durban Country Club before heading to the Drakensberg mountains. A full day is spent relaxing at the Sun City resort at the day before returning to Pretoria.

Day 1 : Depart Pretoria
Depart Pretoria at 10am for scenic drive through the Drakensberg Escarpment to Waterval Onder for overnight on the train.

Day 2 : Golf at Leopard's Creek
18 holes of golf at the magnificent Leopard's Creek golf course at Malelane. Non-golfing guests enjoy a full day tour of the Blyde River Canyon, God's Window and the gold rush mining village of Pilgrim's Rest. The Train departs for Swaziland in the early evening.

Day 3 : Golf at Royal Swazi Golf Club
Enjoy 18 holes of golf at the Royal Swazi Golf Club in the Ezulwini Valley. Non golfers enjoy a game drive in Mlilwane Game Reserve followed by a visit to the Swazi Houses of Parliament and the Swazi candle factory. The train continues to KwaZulu Natal in the afternoon.

Day 4 : Game-viewing in Hluhluwe
Depart for an early morning game drive in the superb Hluhluwe Game Reserve followed by an afternoon boat cruise on the beautiful St Lucia Lake, a World Heritage site. The train continues south towards Durban in the evening.

Day 5 : Golf at Durban Country Club
18 holes of golf at Durban Country Club, one of South Africa's finest courses. Non-golfers enjoy a morning tour of Durban city and the PheZulu village tour in the beautiful Valley of 1000 Hills prior to lunch at Durban Country Club. In the afternoon the train climbs up into the foothills of the Drakensberg.

Day 6 : Golf at Champagne Sports Resort
Morning 18 holes of course at the Champagne Sports Resort in the Drakensberg. Non golfers can choose between a walk in the Drakensberg or a tour of the Natal Battlefields near Ladybrand with some time for shopping as well.

Day 7 : Day at leisure on the train
Leave the Drakensberg in the early morning with a day at leisure on the train, enjoying the views from the Observation car, gourmet cuisine or relaxing in your supremely comfortable suites.

Day 8 : Golf at the Gary Player Country Club
Enjoy 18 holes of golf at the Gary Player Country Club at Sun City, home of the Million Dollar Challenge. In the late afternoon you set off on a game drive into the Pilanesberg Game Reserve.

Day 9 : Return to Pretoria
This morning the train returns to Pretoria arriving at approximately 10am in time for onward travel arrangements.
