Day 2 : 2 nights The Plettenberg, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast
Today you travel west to the Garden Route. The Garden Route thoroughly deserves its reputation for enchanting beauty. The 'Garden' refers not to cultivated gardens, but to its captivating Edenesque qualities. The region offers a spectacular coastline of dramatic headlands giving way to sandy beaches. Behind the golden sand dunes lie placid lagoons and wetland lakes, with a hinterland of soaring mountains, covered by indigenous rainforest, magnificent twisting passes, waterfalls and wooded ravines. Today you visit the Tsitsikamma forest and Storms River Mouth. Continue to Plettenberg Bay to the exclusive Plettenberg Hotel.

Day 3 : Ocean Safari and tour of Knysna
After breakfast you enjoy a fascinating ocean safari advernture where various whales, (in season), dolphins and seals can be seen in their natural habitat (weather and sea conditions permitting.) After lunch (not included in price) enjoy a hard earned lazy afternoon at the hotel around the pool or on the beach. For those interested in visiting Knysna, your guide will take an optional excursion to the 'Oyster Capital' where you can stroll along the Waterfront and enjoy panoramic views of the Kanysna Lagoon from the Eastern Heads.

Scenic drive through the indigenous forest to the Wilderness lakes. Head over the Outeniqua pass for a tour of the Cango Caves and time permitting, an optional tour to the Crocodile and Cheetah Park. Overnight at the elegant Rosenhof Country House or similar.

Day 5 : Route 62 to Cape Town. 3 nights Cape Heritage Hotel, Bed & Breakfast
After an early breakfast, visit a local ostrich farm before a scenic drive along the Route 62 to Cape Town visiting Calitzdorp and Barrydale en route. You stay for 3 nights at the lovely Cape Heritage Hotel on the fringe of Cape Town's historic Bo-Kaap area. As an integral part of the restored Heritage Square, Cape Heritage Hotel offers direct access to a vibrant community of restaurants, art galleries, jewelers and fine craft and fashion shops. Each of the fifteen rooms is individually decorated and the rooms in the main house are particularly special. Amenities include 24-hour room service, a-la-carte restaurant, air-conditioning, mini-bar, satellite TV and a separate bath & shower.

Day 6 : Cape Peninsula tour
Cape Town is one of the most beautifully situated cities in the world. Cradled by Table Mountain, it has immense charm and historical interest whilst its unique cultural blend; part African, part European and part Asian, makes for a cosmopolitan dining experience. Today you are collected from your hotel for a full day Cape Peninsula tour taking in Hout Bay, the Chapmans Peak scenic drive, the Cape of Good Hope National Park, the penguins at Boulders Beach and ending with the glorious Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Day 7 : Winelands Tour & Farewell Dinner
Today you are collected from the hotel for your full day Winelands tour. A combination of the favourable effects of the two major ocean currents meeting off the Cape makes the climate in the area perfect for the acres of vineyards. You first visit a wine estate for a fascinating tour of the winemaking process. You continue to Stellenbosch, which must be one of the finest towns in South Africa. It is easy to see why Simon Van Der Stel decided to build a village in such a charming spot. The backdrop of the Hottentots Holland mountains, the white gabled Cape Dutch Homesteads and the oak-lined streets and lanes all blend in to give this place a charm that will not be quickly forgotten. Head to the charming village of Franschhoek for lunch (for own account.) After lunch you visit the magnificent homestead of Boschendal before continuing to Paarl where you visit the Taal Monument, a symbolic gesture to the Afrikaans language, before being dropped off at your hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 8 : Half Day Table Mountain and Cape Town City Tour
You begin with a journey by the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for a panoramic view of the Cape Peninsula. Afterwards you travel into the city where you fist visit the Castle of Good Hope, the original fort of Cape Town built in 1652 and now painstakingly restored. The Castle?s main entrance at first faced the sea, which in those days almost lapped at its walls. From there you continue to the lovely flower market and the historic centre of Cape Town with its many 18th century buildings. Finally you explore the Malay quarter, a historic sector of the city with original Malay buildings and narrow streets before continuing to the Waterfront where the tour ends just before lunch. The afternoon is at leisure before your transfer to Cape Town airport.
