Day 1 : Arrive in Cape Town. 3 nights Steenberg Hotel
On arrival at the Cape Town airport you transfer to the Steenberg Hotel, situated on an historic wine farm and golf estate in the beautiful Constantia Valley. This superb Cape Dutch Manor House is now a gracious country house hotel. Surrounded by vineyards, its parkland golf course lies in the beautiful Constantia Valley with mountain and forest views. This afternoon you may like to play an optional round of golf on the 18 hole course at Steenberg. This evening you enjoy a superb welcome dinner.

Day 2 : Cape Peninsula tour and optional golf
A tour of the Cape Peninsula. Visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, said to be the romantic meeting point of two mighty oceans. Stop to visit the unique penguin colonies at Boulders beach and the naval town of Simonstown. Keen golfers can enjoy an optional round of 9 holes at the challenging Clovelly golf course as we return home. It is scenically one of the best courses on the Peninsula and wind can play a significant factor. A quiet course, Clovelly is a testing mix of interesting holes and elevated greens accompanied by beautiful views of Silvermine River and lakes.

Day 3 : Golf at the Royal Cape and Cape Town city tour
This morning you have a round of golf at the Royal Cape. The oldest club in South Africa founded in 1885, the Royal Cape has a sense of history and tradition. This challenging course has been home to the South African Open no less than seven times. In the afternoon you enjoy some of the sights of the city. You begin with a journey up to the top of Table Mountain for a breathtaking view of the Mother City. After descending, you visit the historic sights of the city such as the Company Gardens, the SA Museum and the fascinating Cape Malay Quarter.

Day 4 : Golf at Milnerton Links and Vergelegen Wine Estate, 2 nights Erinvale Hotel
Enjoy 18 holes of golf at Milnerton before heading to the Winelands. Milnerton is one of only two true links courses in South Africa. The Winelands is an area of exquisite beauty with rocky mountains overlooking green vineyards; oak avenues leading to elegant Cape Dutch wine estates and some of the most charming towns and villages in SA. This afternoon you visit the beautiful homestead of Velgelegen for a cellar tour in their state of the art cellars and wine-tasting. Erinvale Hotel offers superior accommodation also around an original Cape Dutch homestead. This American-style golf course was chosen as the venue for the 1996 World Championships due to its superb design and challenging course.

Day 5 : Golf at Erinvale and tour of the Cape Winelands
Enjoy a round of golf at Erinvale. The course has two distinctly different nine holes to challenge the enthusiastic golfer. The first nine is quite a flat parkland course but a real test due to well-placed water hazards and bunkers of all shapes and sizes. In contrast, the back nine holes form part of the foothills of the mountains. After the golf your guide will take you on a tour in the Winelands. You visit Stellenbosch and also one of the smaller wine estates for some wine-tasting.

Day 6 : Continue to Garden Route for afternoon golf, 3 nights Fancourt Hotel
Today drive through the rolling wheatfields of the Overberg to the Fancourt Country Club where you spend three nights. The Montagu has been rated the No 1 golf course in South Africa - a superbly manicured course. The Outeniqua, set in rolling parkland, has the stunning backdrop of the Outeniqua Mountains. The Links has been selected to host the 2003 President’s Cup and is a truly challenging course, especially if the wind blows, with rolling fairways alongside punishing roughs. The manor house and surrounding luxury cottages provide supremely comfortable accommodation, and the magnificent health and beauty centre are appreciated by golfer and non-golfer alike. This afternoon you enjoy your first round of golf before relaxing over dinner.

Day 7 : Golf at Pezula and tour of Knysna
A magnificent round of golf at Pezula followed by a tour of Knysna, an attractive little town on the edge of the glorious Knysna lagoon within easy access to many beaches, and scenic drives or walks into the indigenous forest. You enjoy a boat cruise on the lagoon. You will also have some time to browse in the many arts and craft shops, or alternatively enjoy a few Knysna oysters as you enjoy the view across the lagoon.

Day 8 : Tsitsikamma Forest and Plettenberg Bay. Optional 9 holes golf
Today you visit the lovely Plettenberg Bay, a chic resort with lovely wide sandy beaches perfect for swimming. Take a walk in the nearby Robberg Nature Reserve or a river cruise up the Keurbooms River. We also explore the superb Tsitsikamma Forest, an area of indigenous forest, with rugged ravines and waterfalls – ideal for walks of varying lengths.

Day 9 : Golf at Fancourt and depart George airport
You enjoy a final game of golf before you are dropped off at George Airport for your onward flight.
