Day 1 : Depart Maun for 3 nights Stanley Camp, Okavango Delta, Fully Inclusive On arrival at Maun, you are transferred by light aircraft transfer direct to Stanley Camp in the Okavango Delta for 3 nights. The maze of waterways, lagoons, vast grassy plains and palm-fringed and wooded islands is home to crocodile, hippo, elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, giraffe, wild dog, rare antelope and around 400 bird species. Set in a amphitheatre of ebony and sausage trees on the southern tip of Chief’s Island, Stanley’s Camp sits amidst 260 000 acres of untamed African bush. Accommodation is a traditional safari experience with eight luxury safari tents, all en suite, delightfully furnished in 1940’s style with expansive views over the beautiful floodplains. The central lounge/dining area is a large open tent with wooden floors, antique furniture and oriental carpets. White linen and crystal for dinner gives a colonial feel.

Day 2 : Elephant Interaction Programme The elephant interaction programme is today. Spend a large part of a day learning about the elephant, walking in the bush with them, and observing them in their natural environment.

Day 3 : Other safari activities at Stanley Camp The maze of waterways, lagoons, vast grassy plains and palm-fringed and wooded islands is home to a wide variety of big game including elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog. Enjoy some other safari activities today including serene water safaris by mekoro (water levels permitting), 4x4 game drives, game walks and night drives.

Day 4 : Return to Maun After a final safari activity followed by brunch, you take a light charter flight back to Maun.
