Day 1 : Depart Lilongwe for 1 night Club Makokola Depart Lilongwe in the early afternoon for road transfer to Club Makokola. Stay overnight at Club Makokola, a comfortable resort hotel on the banks of Lake Malawi.

Day 2 : 3 nights Island Camps on Lake Malawi The Kayak Africa team will meet you at 9.30am for the transfer to Cape Maclear. After a familiarization and safety briefing on the beach, you head to the water and paddle either to Domwe Island or Mumbo Island Camp (taking 1 to 2 hours). Spend 3 nights at the Island Camps. The five tents are pitched among granite boulders with uninterrupted views across the lake. Enjoy kayaking, scuba diving, swimming, snorkelling, nature trails and bird watching, while a personal shady hammock or a secluded beach are perfect retreats for those wanting to unwind and relax. The camps on both Mumbo Island and Domwe Island are luxuriously rustic and private, being in an exclusive concession.

Day 5 : Paddle back to Cape Maclear. Overnight Club Makokola Paddle back to the mainland and then get a transfer back to Club Makokola where you stay overnight again.

Day 6 : Return to Lilongwe You are transferred back to Lilongwe in the morning in time for your onward arrangements.
