This Romantic Game Lodge is ideal for weddings and honeymoons.
This exclusive lodge is designed to offer a more intimate wildlife encounter. Earthern columns reflect the spires of termite mounds, rough plastered walls echo the sand. We have created a North African oasis, a haven in the bush. Track animals up close, sleep out on a platform in the trees and learn about the constellations, or simply swing in your hammock and relax completely. Rooms are half tent half hacienda with indoor and outdoor showers. Book a ‘bath with a view’ for a different experience. View four of the big five from open safari vehicles if you choose, or remain at the lodge viewing the game as it passes beneath in the riverbed. Wedding couples who are not South African citizens or holders of a permanent resident's permit must comply with certain regulations. We will send you a list of requirements on confirmation. Copies of all documents must be sent to us no later than six weeks prior to your wedding in order to ensure that everything runs smoothly. The originals must be taken with you. If your documents are not in English they will need to be officially translated. |

Garonga Game Lodge has 6 double luxury suites with canvas and decks. It is a romantic setting perfect for weddings or honeymooners. You can enjoy a game drive to view 4 of the big five or relax at the lodge to view any game that passes beneath
the riverbed.

Video of the wedding
Video cannot be taken on its own ? it has to be in addition to photographs, as Lorraine cannot justify costs of travelling to the lodge just for the video. Guests do not have to take all 50 prints. They can request less and Lorraine would quote accordingly.
Legality of wedding ceremony: Reverend Solms will register your marriage with United Nations through our Department of Home Affairs, and once back in you country of origin you collect a UN marriage certificate from the South African Embassy or Consulate. Once the marriage is registered with the UN it is legal in every country belonging to the UN.
NB: Australian Nationals in terms of their country?s law, need to have a certificate from their local police to authorise them to get married outside Australia. This certificate can take anything up to 6 weeks to acquire.

 Day 4 : Depart from Garonga Game Lodge
After your morning Game Drive and Breakfast you depart from Garonga Game Lodge. (You can choose to use the complimentary road transfers for the bride and groom from local airports in the area)
