Bush Weddings are a particular favourite of ours: the ceremony takes place in the heart of the African bush with some impromtu singing and dancing by the staff. Other guests gather round keen to share in your happiness….. and afterwards you take a private game drive in a landie filled with rose petals.
Singita Private Game Reserve maintains its reputation as one of the world’s finest, most exclusive, safari lodges. Expert guiding is underpinned by fine cuisine, a superb cellar and unsurpassed service. Ebony Lodge is colonial in style with beautiful views down to the river. Boulders Lodge has a contemporary African ambience with strong Eastern influences and extensive use of glass. Each lodge has nine beautifully-appointed air-conditioned suites with separate lounge and bedroom, opulent bathrooms with freestanding baths and outdoor shower. The expansive teak deck contains a private plunge pool. Boulders also has a gym and beauty therapist on hand for massages and facials. |

Wedding couples who are not South African citizens or holders of a permanent resident's permit must comply with certain regulations. We will send you a list of requirements on confirmation. Copies of all documents must be sent to us no later than six weeks prior to your wedding in order to ensure that everything runs smoothly. The originals must be taken with you. If your documents are not in English they will need to be officially translated. |

 Day 1 : 3 nights Wedding Package, Singita Private Game Reserve Lodge, Fully inclusive meals and Game Drives
Activities at Singita Ebony and Boulders:Morning and afternoon-into-night game drives are led by professional rangers and Shangaan trackers expert in locating animals by open 4 x 4 safari vehicle and on foot. The wide range of activities the guests are free to enjoy at the lodges distinguishes Singita. Clay pigeon shooting is available on request, or guests may try some fly-fishing in the seasonal rivers. Bush breakfasts and sunset cocktails may be arranged for you in some of the most scenic spots in the reserve, or you may dine on the privacy of your deck. A guided visit to Justitia Village, just outside the boundary of the Reserve, will provide you with fascinating insights into the life of the local Shangaan community. The dedicated Bush Spa and Gym offers a comprehensive personal treatment programme, whilst the African Trading Store showcases Africa's finest and most exclusive clothing, artworks and decorative ware.

Day 2 : Further details of wedding arrangements
Methodist Minister from White River will conduct the ceremony in the late morning or early afternoon. Please note that a supplement will be charged for a late afternoon wedding (accommodation for the Minister).
One of the ladies at the lodge will assist with bride-to-be?s hairdo. Not qualified hairdresser.

Day 3 : Wedding day arrangements
The actual venue may change according to the prevailing weather, but what we prefer to do if possible, is to arrange the ceremony to take place on the expansive wooden leisure decks beneath the ancient ebony trees. This lovely area overlooks the Sand River in which we normally have hippo and crocodile and the hippos can often be heard grunting their territorial calls. Birdcalls that sometimes add a lovely background mood to the exchanging of vows are fish eagles and purple crested loeries, rather different and very memorable. The antics of our resident vervet monkeys always add a touch of humour too! The minister conducting the service will have the register, declaration forms (for non South African ID holders) and a small marriage certificate. A detailed list of documents required is sent on confirmation.

After your last morning game drive and breakfast you depart from Singita Private Game Reserve.
