On Safari in Tanzania Home / Tanzania / Western National Parks

Wild Instincts | Tanzania | Western National Parks

This is without doubt a rare opportunity to combine two of Africa's last untamed wilderness areas, Mahale and Katavi. Both parks are still largely undiscovered and receive very few visitors each year. Days here are full of enchantment and spectacular wildlife and the camps are intimate and very charming. With guides who are extremely knowledgeable, the safari is about discovering the intricate workings of bush life. Mahale is quite simply, one of the most stunning locations in Africa. If not to see the chimpanzees, just come here for the serenity of the surroundings. Then there is Katavi, with its floodplains, woodland and herds of buffalo and prides of lion. And with only a few tourists, it's an intimate yet wild place.
