52 sq km. On this short fly-in safari you can enjoy chimpanzee trekking, hiking, swimming and snorkelling and visit the historic site of Henry Stanley's famous greeting 'Dr Livingstone I presume' at Ujiji near Kigoma. Day 1 : 1 night Kigoma Hilltop Hotel, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast
Fly from Dar es Salaam to Kigoma and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Ujiji town with a visit to Dr. Livingstone?s memorial.

Day 2 : 3 nights Gombe Tented Camp, Full Board & Activities.
Early morning 90 minute boat departure to Gombe Stream.

Gombe Tented Camp (sister lodge to Nkungwe Tented Camp in Mahale) - is situated in the north end of the park, on the lakeshore. Tents are made of heavy-duty canvas with zip down gauze windows and roll-up flap doors. Each tent is furnished with twin wooden beds with firm mattress, desk, chair, bedside lamp and clothes rack. All tents are en suite, and are raised on wooden platforms to offer perfect views of the lake and the sunset. Spend time in the next two days chimpanzee trekking, hiking and swimming in Africa's least-polluted freshwater lake.

Day 5 : Return to Dar es Salaam
Early morning boat transfer to Kigoma, then fly to Dar es Salaam.
