Day 1 : 2 nights, Stanley Safari Lodge, Full Board
Road transfer to Stanley Safari Lodge close to Victoria Falls. One of the seven natural wonders of the world, Victoria Falls is a sight not to be missed. When the river is in spate in April and May, over a mile of unbroken surging water plunges into the Zambezi Gorge below. The clouds of spray generated by this thunderous descent have resulted in a lush rain forest full of stunning wild flowers. Stanley Safari Lodge borders the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, close to the Victoria Falls. This owner-managed lodge is reminiscent of a traditional 1920's safari experience. Attention to detail is delivered with style: starched linen on your mahogany four poster bed, fresh flowers and interesting artefacts. 7 luxury cottages and suites, with a private garden and dining area, are individually decorated with local materials. The honeymoon suite has its own fireplace and plunge pool. Four are open-sided to enjoy the unique view across the bush to the spray of the Falls - but the rest are enclosed for those who prefer it. The main house provides the setting for candlelit French-style cuisine; alternatively you can dine under the stars on the lawn or in the privacy of your room. Spend the day relaxing by the pool or perhaps spotting elephants at the nearby waterhole.

Day 3 : 3 nights, Kwando Lebala Camp, Linyanti, Full Board & Game Drives
Fly by light aircraft to Lebala Camp
in the Linyanti Swamps for 3 nights. Lebala means 'wide open spaces' in Setswana and the scenery is dominated by vast plains scattered with Ilala palms backed by wooded savannas. The endless vistas and the excellent game-viewing here make Lebala one of the finest wilderness camps in Africa with sightings of elephant, hippo, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, kudu, tsessebe, roan, sable, buffalo and the ever present predators; wild dog, lion, cheetah and hyena. In particular the lions of Kwando are famous for their elephant, hippo and buffalo kills.

The eight spacious tents are on a raised teak deck, laid out with maximum comfort and privacy in mind. The tents have an entrance foyer with a reading and writing area, en-suite bathrooms with Victorian clawfoot bathtubs, and double vanity unit.

Day 6 : 2 nights, Xakanaxa Camp, Moremi Game Reserve, Full Board & Game Drives
Fly south to the heart of Moremi Game Reserve for your two nights stay. Xakanaxa Camp offers 11 Meru-style luxury tents which are built on elevated wooden platforms with en-suite facilities. At the front of each tent is a deck which overlooks the waterways. The dining room and bar are cantilevered over the Xakanaxa lagoon. Xakanaxa is one of the few camps which can offer both vehicle and boating trips. An hours boating away are the heronries of the Godikwe and Xobega lagoons. Game drives into the Moremi Wildlife reserve offer excellent views of some of the Okavango specials including the red lechwe and tsessebe.

Day 8 : 2 nights, Kwando Kwara, Okavango Delta, Full Board & Game Drives
Boat transfer to Kwando Kwara Camp in the Okavango Delta for 2 nights. Kwara is located in the remote northern part of the Okavango Delta within the private Kwara concession. It is a magnificent wilderness area in excess of 1,700 square kilometres bordering the Moremi Reserve. Kwara encompasses a wide diversity of habitats, ranging from permanent delta water with reed-lined lagoons and channels, to open grasslands, Mopane woodlands and palm-fringed islands. The 8 luxury safari-style tents are built on raised teak decks, overlooking a vast floodplain. Each tent has its own viewing deck, private en suite facilities. Guests can enjoy a diverse wildlife experience all year round - gliding silently through crystal-clear waterways in a mokoro, bird watching (kingfishers, pygmy geese, fish eagles and the elusive Pel?s fishing owl), fishing, walking on one of the many palm-fringed islands and taking part in spectacular night drives.

Day 10 : 2 nights, Deception Valley Lodge, Kalahari, Full Board & Activities
Fly south to Deception Valley Lodge in the Kalahari for 2 nights. Deception Valley Lodge lies on the edge of the Kalahari about 120kmsouth of Maun. It overlooks a waterhole and is furnished in African style with great attention to detail. Each of the five huge and stylish thatched chalets comes complete with deep sofas, fans, minibar, and en suite bathroom with ball and claw bath and outside shower. Your deck looks over the vast Kalahari plains. Activities include day and night game drives and game walks with skilled Bushmen guides to view the unique flora, ecosystem and the game. From your tracker, you learn more about the hunting and survival skills of one of Africa's oldest cultures.
