During the Migration season, from mid July through to mid October, try to add a few days in the Masai Mara. This is easily fitted between Loisaba and your beach stay.
A couple of nights at Poponi, closer to old Lamu Town, is a good combination with Kiwayu. |

 Day 1 : 3 nights Loisaba, Laikipia Plateau, Fully Inclusive.
Scheduled flight from Nairobi to Nanyuki then a private charter to Loisaba. 3 nights are spent at Loisaba with one optional night spent at 'Starbeds' highly recommended.
Loisaba offers bush walks and day and night game drives. You may see lion, leopard, elephant, giraffe, zebra, a variety of gazelle and buffalo. A rewarding number of sightings of wild dog have also been recorded. Came rides, horse-riding and mountain biking are also on offer.
The lodge at this peaceful retreat is built on the edge of a plateau and sleeps 14, with a lovely pool and gardens. At ?Starbeds?, partially roofed sleeping platforms with proper beds roll out to allow you to sleep in the open, under the stars.

Day 4 : 3 nights Kiwayu, Lamu Archipelago, Fully Inclusive.
Private charter to Nanyuki, then scheduled flight to Wilson, connecting with scheduled flight to Kiwayu.
Kiwayu is a 'barefoot luxury' lodge on soft white sand beach of a reef-protected bay on one of Lamu's islands. Each of the enormous 18 en suite cottages has 4-poster beds, a spacious veranda, complete with a comfortable Lamu bed, hammock and panoramic views across the lagoon. There is delicious fresh seafood, plenty of long cool drinks and as much or as little as you want to do. Activities included are wind surfing, water-skiing, snorkelling among the coral, laser sailing, line fishing in the Mangroves, dhow trips, island sundowners.

Return to Nairobi with a scheduled flight for your return flight or onward arrangements.
