Optional day tours in and around Cape Town can easily be added at an additional cost or we can arrange to have a rental car delivered to the hotel.

Day 6 : Scheduled flight to Maun. Overnight Motsentsela Dinner, Bed & Breakfast.
You are transferred to the Airport.

You have a flight to Maun, via Johannesburg, from Cape Town (Scheduled flights are excluded from this web price).

You are met on arrival and transferred to Motsentsela Tree Lodge for an overnight stay, a small lodge situated on a game farm of 200 hectares. The lodge can accommodate a maximum of 18 guests in seven Meru style tents and two Honeymoon Cottages, all with en-suite facilities. There are three marked walking trails for guests to explore the farm and view the game and bird life. Horse riding, helicopter flights and Cultural village tours can be arranged as optional activities.

Day 7 : Charter flight to Okavango Delta. 4 nights Nxabega Camp Fully Inclusive
You are transferred back to the Maun Airport where you board your charter flight to the Okavango Delta.

Nxabega Safari Lodge lies in a private Delta concession on the western border of the Moremi wildlife reserve. The lodge has been beautifully hand crafted and designed so that its open-plan dining room, lounge, wildlife reference library, and expansive sundecks all offer unobstructed views over the endless floodplains of the Delta. Situated under dense stands of African Ebony and Strangler Fig Trees, Nxabega accommodates 18 guests in the classically elegant and luxurious safari tents on elevated wooden platforms with private sundecks. Beautiful details such as burnished teak floors, huge wooden bowls full of chillies and a solitaire game made from local vegetable ivory pods add a signature style to Nxabega. Guests have a choice of daily activities including meandering along the floodplains and channels by mokoro or tracking big game on foot or by open 4x4-safari vehicle. The main lodge has a sitting and dining area and there's a plunge pool for cooling off during the warm days.

Day 8 : Game viewing in the Okavango Delta for next 3 days
The Okavango, the jewel in the middle of the Kalahari Desert, is Africa?s largest and most beautiful oasis - an isolated, lush green paradise with some of the richest wildlife in the world. This exceedingly beautiful maze of waterways, lagoons, vast grassy plains and palm-fringed and wooded islands is home to crocodile, hippo, elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, giraffe, wild dog, rare antelope and around 400 bird species. But wildlife is just one of many elements that combine to make the delta a treasure house. It is the brooding quietness of the waterways, the plaintive cry of the fish eagle, the malachite kingfisher reflected in the waters and the scent of the water lilies, which will stay with you forever.

The evocative mokoro trips - a traditional dugout canoe made from an ebony or sausage tree - largely take place in shallow waters and seasonal flood plains of the semi-permanent sector of the delta. Gliding along in a mokoro, in total harmony with nature, with a knowledgeable guide behind you, is an experience not to be missed.

Camps in the semi-permanent waters tend to offer water-based activities from June to October (exactly when varies by lodge and by season) when the water levels are highest, as well as 4x4 game drives in open vehicles and game walks. Most of the delta is divided up into private concession areas, each with only one or two safari camps, thus ensuring exclusivity and tranquillity.

Day 11 : Charter flight, then road transfer to Tongabezi. 3 nights, mix of Tongabezi and Sindabezi Island or Matetsi River Lodge.
After a final morning game activity, you are transferred back to the airstrip for a charter flight to Kasane Aiport. Here you are met and have a road & boat transfer to your lodge at Victoria Falls on the Zambian side.

You stay for 3 nights at Tongabezi Lodge with a night at the romantic Sindabezi Island or you can opt to enjoy some more game-viewing at Matetsi Water Lodge on the Zimbabwean side of Victoria Falls.

Tongabezi is set on a sweeping bend of the Zambezi, upstream from the Falls and facing west toward the sunset. The lodge has five expansive river cottages and four romantic Houses, all en suite and all decorated in earthy tones with African prints and idyllic views of the river only a few feet away. There's also a two bedroom garden cottage - perfect for families. A swimming pool is landscaped into a rock face. Canoeing, bird walks, river cruises, village visits and guided tour of the Falls are some of the inclusive activities. There?s even a croquet lawn. Sindabezi Island is a romantic yet more rustic camp of 5 open-fronted chalets on an island.

Matetsi lies 40 mins drive upstream from Victoria Falls and is home to large herds of elephant, buffalo and a wide variety of game. Guests enjoy both the adventure and the tranquillity of life beside the Zambezi, combining land and water-based game viewing with excursions to the Falls. Set on the lush river banks, Water Lodge has three intimate camps each with six air-conditioned suites and its own elegantly appointed dining/sitting areas with open river views. The suites have a spacious bathroom and private plunge pool on their river deck. Game drives, guided walks and boat cruises on the Zambezi are on offer as well as relaxing fishing and canoeing.

Day 14 : Transfer to Livingstone Airport
This morning you are transferred back to the Livingstone airport in time for your onward flight arrangements. END OF SERVICES.
