Seychelles - The Banyan Tree | Seychelles | Mahé |
The Seychelles is as close to natural visual paradise as you can ever hope to see.. A ?thousand miles from anywhere?, the archipelago of 99 islets and six larger islands lies almost on the Equator, outside the cyclone belt and has no malaria or serious diseases. The Seychelles appeal is more to the nature-lover than the glamour-puss, whilst the seclusion, pampering and delicious seafood appeals to lovers, romantics and honeymooners.
Banyan Tree is a rare and serenely beautiful hotel amidst 117 hectares of tropical vegetation on the southwestern coast of Mahé Island. It has a superb 800 metre beach frontage on beautiful and private Intendance Bay. |

Day 1 : Transfer to the Banyan Tree, 7 nights, B&B On arrival in Mahe, you are transferred to the sublime Banyan Tree Resort. The Seychelles appeal is more to the nature-lover than the glamour-puss, yet it is also fast becoming a hot-ticket for the cognoscenti. The seclusion, pampering and delicious seafood appeals to lovers, romantics and honeymooners alike.
In contrast to the pared down lifestyle of the smaller islands, Mahé could almost be described as bustling and even has nightlife of sorts. This is the ideal island for the active, as watersports centres, dive centres, game fishing and yacht charters abound. You can stroll around the markets of Victoria, visit the Botanical Gardens, take a nature trail in the mountains, go diving or simply laze on one of the 75 beaches!
|
Day 2 : Relaxing at the Banyan Tree Banyan Tree is a rare and serenely beautiful hotel amidst 117 hectares of tropical vegetation on the southwestern coast. It has a superb 800 metre beach frontage on beautiful and private Intendance Bay, described as one of the world's ten most beautiful beaches with exotic palms, lush tropical forest and a steep, protective mountain slope. Its 36 stunning pool villas combine contemporary, colonial and 'plantation' décor; with high sloping ceilings, airy verandas, louvered doors and ethnic woven textiles. The Hillside Pool Villas (±97 sqm) suit those who prefer the glorious ocean view and serene rainforest surroundings of the hillside. A private pool deck, open-air pavilion and small private plunge pool make the most of the panoramic location.
|
Day 3 : Activities on offer All the activities and amenities you would expect are on offer, including a dive school, windsurfing, sailing, tennis, fully-equipped gym, sauna, steam baths and Jacuzzi. But, above all, this hotel is about the huge range of massages, therapies, rubs and wraps available at the award-winning Banyan Tree Spa.
Primarily a spot for utter indulgence and pampering, the resort offers a choice of five restaurants, not to mention beach picnics and in-villa dining.
|
Day 8 : Return to Mahe airport After some time at leisure you are transferred back to Mahe Airport for your onward arrangements.
