Day 1 : 4 nights, Honeyguide Mantobeni Lodge, Manyeleti Game Reserve, Full Board and Game Drives
On arrival at Hoedspruit Airport you are met and transferred to Honeyguide Mantobeni Lodge within the Manyeleti Private Game Reserve which is part of the greater Kruger Park. Honeyguide Mantobeni Lodge is designed to reflect Hemingway's Africa. The lodge has a comfortable contemporary style with sitting area, indoor and outdoor dining areas, bar and glassed wine cellar. An attractive lap pool and deck overlooks a nearby waterhole. The en suite tents are evocative of a 1940's style safari, complete with old leather chairs or sofas and writing desks. You enjoy open-vehicle game drives with an experienced ranger and tracker who work together to give you a deeper understanding of the wildlife and the natural cycles of the bush. Their bush knowledge, practical skills and love of nature promise you informative, exciting and rewarding encounters with the wildlife. As the sun sets, the afternoon drive becomes a night safari following nocturnal animals as they begin to hunt.....

Day 2 : On safari
The following morning as the animals rise early, to hunt in the cool of the day, you take your game drive immediately after early morning tea and coffee. The drive finishes in time for a late breakfast which will be keenly appreciated after your early morning activity. You relax around the lodge during the heat of the day or take a bush walk with a ranger (see Day 3). After lunch follows a late afternoon game drive.

Day 3 : Bush walks
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, you can go on a guided walk into the bush with a ranger, if you wish. This affords guests the ultimate, close-to-the-wild experience, and a chance to focus on the smaller bush inhabitants including birds, insects and butterflies. You can also discover the interesting worlds of trees, grasses, flowers, geology and ecology - of course, occasionally big game can be seen on walks ? including the Big 5.

Day 5 : 6 nights, Dugong Beach Lodge, Mozambique coast, Full Board
You are transferred by charter flight (20 mins) to Kruger Airport for your onward flight to Vilanculos on the Mozambiquan mainland. From there you are transferred to Dugong Beach Lodge for your six night stay.

Dugong Beach Lodge is on a promontory in the Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary. Possible activities include snorkelling, scuba diving, salt water fly-fishing, deep sea fishing, pedal boats and kayaks but most guests simply want to relax in a romantic wilderness. Six tented rooms and a two-bedroomed villa have traditional shaggy-grass thatch and hardwood floors, all opening onto a private patio. Outdoor showers and feature baths complete the picture of a luxurious room, equipped with fans and mosquito nets. Facilities include a bar, lounge with TV and DVD, and a fresh-water pool. The jetty gazebo is the perfect setting for sundowners or enjoying the superb Mozambican cuisine in a private al fresco dinner.

Day 6 : Relaxing for next five days
The Mozambique coast offers white sandy beaches, lush vegetation and an azure blue sea for swimming amongst the rich coral life. The protected reefs in support dolphin, dugong, game fish and giant lobster. The shallow, crystal-clear waters offer spectacular safe snorkelling protected by the dazzling soft coral reefs. You float above starfish, anemones, seahorses and a bewildering range of jewel-like fish, which extend out to the many dive sites where you also encounter green turtles, manta ray, sailfish and a variety of docile sharks.

Day 11 : Return to Johannesburg
After a last morning enjoying the island you return to Vilanculos by road and boat in time for your return flight to Johannesburg.
