This relaxing family tour combines Big Five game-viewing in the Sabi Sands, the Indian Ocean coast and magnificent Cape Town. Three or four nights are spend at each location in private game lodge and top resort hotels. It's wonderful at any time of year and particularly from August to November when the game viewing is at its best and the Indian Ocean beaches are warm but not scorching.

Day 1 : Depart Hoedspruit for 3 nights Vuyatela Game Lodge, Sabi Sands, Full Board and Game Drives
Transfer by road or air to Vuyatela Game Lodge for 3 nights game-viewing in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. Vuyatela has an innovative design bringing in the diverse architectural styles seen in contemporary African villages. The main lodge overlooks an active waterhole where resident elephants often come to drink. It has some quirky features: a bird watching tower, a ?shebeen? bar, a gym and relaxation room and a giant aquarium. Each spacious air-conditioned suite can accommodate two extra beds and also has a separate sitting room and a funky bathroom, all furnished with contemporary township art. The large wooden deck offers an outdoor shower, private plunge pool and teak day beds.

Day 4 : 4 nights Zimbali Lodge, near Durban, KwaZulu Natal, Bed & Breakfast
After a final early morning game drive, you are transferred to Kruger Park Airport for your flight to Durban. Transfer to Zimbali Lodge for 4 nights. Zimbali Lodge is easily the most luxurious beach resort on the Dolphin coast. The 76 air-conditioned rooms have magnificent views to the sea and elegant dιcor with Afro-eastern inspired architecture and hand carved mahogany furniture. Facilities include a magnificent pool, tennis, walks on the estate, a health and beauty spa, and of course the superb Tom Weiskopf golf course descends from the hotel down the valley to the Indian Ocean. A variety of optional tours are available to Zulu cultural villages, Durban and the Valley of 1000 Hills.

Day 8 : 4 nights Table Bay Hotel, Cape Town, Bed & Breakfast
This morning you are transferred to Durban airport for your flight to Cape Town where you are transferred to the Table Bay Hotel for 4 nights. The Table Bay, in the child-friendly Waterfront, is an unashamedly luxurious hotel. The 329 rooms overlook either the mountain or the ocean. The family rooms have a sleeper couch which sleeps two children or one teenager. All rooms feature luxurious walk-in cupboards, butler stations, television and video, en suite bathrooms with separate showers and marble vanity units. Other delights include chamber music in the lounge, live jazz in the Atlantic restauarant, cocktail bar, a large heated swimming pool and a health club and spa.

Day 12 : Depart Cape Town
After some time at leisure, you are transferred back to Cape Town airport for your onward flight.
