Ras Kutani is a luxury retreat set in pristine forest on a lagoon rich in colourful wildlife with fresh clear spring-fed waters. Before or after a safari, guests can chill out with a little snorkelling, beach wanderings, horseriding, walks through the lagoon forest and lots of rest and relaxation.

Accommodation is in nine spacious cottages and four suites, constructed of natural, local materials that harmonise with the natural surroundings. Ethnic furnishings are in keeping with the Tanzanian coast's rich cultural heritage, using turquoises that reflect the colours of the ocean. Each cottage has its own en suite bathroom and large veranda with views of the azure ocean.

The kitchen prides itself on preparing fresh local fish and seafood. When the sea is calm as Ras Kutani, the lagoon reflects the evening light in mirror image, creating a gentle shimmering backdrop for romantic dinners under the stars.
