Day 1
4 nights Madikwe Private Game Reserve
On arrival in South Africa, you fly to the Madikwe Game Reserve where you are met and transferred to Jacis Tree Lodge for four nights on safari.
This stylish game lodge features classy "tree houses" on stilts within the riverine forest. An open plan bathroom with oval stone bath and outdoor shower allow you to revel in the sylvan surrounds. Relax on your sundeck, on a hammock in the reading sala, or wander to the forest pool to cool off. Enjoy a starlit dinner with fire-cooked meals either in the boma or at a bush braai after the excitement of game viewing.
Children of all ages are very welcome and younger children are specially catered for with special kid's game drives. There is also an optional specialist children's safari programme which is a half day activity.

Day 5
4 nights Cape Town
Road transfer back to Johannesburg for your flight to Cape Town. Here you will be transferred to the Radisson Hotel for four nights. Optional private tours with one of our family specialist guides can be arranged.
The Radisson, near the vibrant Waterfront, is set on the water's edge overlooking Granger Bay and exudes a relaxed charm. It has the feel of a luxurious beach hotel and yet it is only ten minutes easy walk from the Waterfront. Most of the 131 rooms face the city whilst the 70 one or two bedroom suites have wonderful sea and marina views. It is designed around an atrium, so it has a light, spacious feel and the rim pool is particularly tempting, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean with the waves crashing against the boulders below. The two bedroom suites are perfect for families.

Day 9
3 nights near Hermanus
Transfer via the scenic coastal road to Grootbos Wilderness Reserve for three nights. Grootbos, located amidst the spectacular fynbos and ancient dunes, is a real gem. A nature-lovers paradise - all but the most committed urbanite will enjoy the 4x4 game drives, nature walks and horse riding, as well as beach visits and escorted whale watching trips.
Eleven cottages each offer a separate lounge, and one or two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. All have private wooden decks with panoramic sea and mountain views. Facilities include filter coffee machines, well-stocked mini-bar, daily fruit basket, indigenous fynbos flower arrangements and fireplace.

Return to Cape Town
After a final activity, you are transferred back to Cape Town Airport in time for your onward arrangements.
