Singita continues to maintain its worldwide reputation as one of the World's finest and most exclusive safari companies. Within the Sabi Sands private game reserve lie Singita Boulders and its sister lodge, Singita Ebony, both decorated and run to the same immaculate standards, but very different in feel. Singita Boulders has a contemporary African ambience with strong Eastern influences and extensive use of glass.

The public areas of Singita Boulders are open to the bush and showcase the best in modern African décor. Indeed the décor is clever juxtaposition between the textures of Africa and carefree lines of an occasional retro classic. rough-hewn timber, leather and stone meet thatch and wild views! A free flowing indoor sitting area leads out to alfresco lunchtime dining on several decks under the shade of giant jackalberry trees. A lavishly decorated dining room leads to a hidden surprise downstairs - a well stocked wine cellar of over 12,000 bottled of the best South African and International vintages, with informal wine-tasting presentations offered by Singita’s resident sommelier on request.

Accommodation at Singita Boulders is in nine beautifully appointed glass-fronted suites with separate lounge and bedroom, opulent bathrooms with freestanding baths, and an open air shower. Outside the expansive teak deck contains a private plunge pool and offers views of the Sand river. The latest addition are two luxury two-bedroom suites which are ideal for two couples travelling together or families with children over ten years.

Morning and afternoon-into-night game drives are led by professional rangers and Shangaan trackers expert in locating animals by open 4 x 4 safari vehicle and on foot. The wide range of activities the guests are free to enjoy at the lodges distinguishes Singita. The dedicated Bush Spa and Gym offers a comprehensive personal treatment programme, whilst the African Trading Store showcases Africa's finest and most exclusive clothing, artworks and decorative ware.

Clay pigeon shooting is available on request, or guests may try some fly-fishing in the seasonal rivers. Bush breakfasts and sunset cocktails may be arranged for you in some of the most scenic spots in the reserve, or you may dine on the privacy of your deck. A guided visit to Justitia Village, just outside the Sabi Sand reserve, will provide you with fascinating insights into the life of the local Shangaan community.

Given the varying terrain of the Sabi Sands and Kruger, you might like to combine two nights here with two nights at Singita Lebombo or Singita Sweni in the Kruger National Park, time and budget permitting.
