Notes:	Children over 12 years are usually treated as adults by South African hotels and need to have their own room. Similarly if you would like your younger children to have their own room, then the sample price will increase. This tour can be booked on a self drive basis as well if you prefer a little more flexibility. This will reduce the price considerably. Finally if you have a little more time, we recommend an extra night at Mosaic Farm or in the Drakensberg escarpment area

This is a popular family holiday for our clients who don’t wish to self-drive. It combines some of the best of the Cape (Cape Town, Winelands and Hermanus) with some of the best of the Kruger (Big Five game-viewing and the Drakensberg Escarpment). It is especially suited to families with slightly older children eg between 6 and 12 years but can be booked with younger children as well.

It can be booked on a self drive basis as well if you prefer a little more flexibility. This would reduce the price considerably.

You begin with some time in Cape Town. You have a private driver/guide available during your stay with one day at leisure. You then head to the Southern Coast near Hermanus for a a couple of nights to enjoy the beaches, lagoons and whale-watching that this area is famous for. Next you fly up to the Kruger area for sightseeing in the Drakensberg Escarpment before enjoying three nights on safari in the Greater Kruger National Park.

As we like to tailor this private tour to your own family’s needs, we have not included entrances in the tour price. This allows you to decide with your private guide on the activities for the day based on your inclinations.
