Little Ongava lies within Ongava Game Reserve, a private 30,000ha game reserve on the southern boundary of Etosha National Park. Inspired by the spectacular panoramas and cool breezes that the Ongava hilltops provide, Little Ongava provides the most luxurious accommodation in Namibia. It has a spectacular setting perched on a koppie, overlooking Ongava's main floodlit waterhole and the plains below. Yet the design is so integrated with the bush, that you cannot see the larger Main Lodge which lies further down the koppie.

Each spacious suite at Little Ongava commands a private view of the waterhole and plains below. Chill out in your own rimflow pool, relax in the indoor/outdoor bathroom and shower, or enjoy a siesta in your private 'sala' tucked away in a rock formation. The lounge area lends itself to relaxed stylish dining under an African sky, however meals can be served in your suite if you prefer. Making Little Ongava perfect for honeymooners and those seeking utter seclusion on their Namibian holiday.

Activities at Little Ongava include game drives in open 4x4 vehicles into Etosha, as well as night drives and nature walks in their private game reserve. With its resident white and black rhino, rhino tracking on foot is one of the most popular activities at Ongava. You also have the chance to see elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah and the plains species. Keen birders may see various species from a pygmy falcon to some of Namibia's endemic species such as Hartlaub's francolin, the bare-cheeked babbler or Ruppel's parrot.
