| Tanzania is a breathtaking destination for a first-time safari or for experienced safari enthusiasts alike. A Tanzania safari offers abundant wildlife in the world-famous Ngorongoro crater, the Serengeti and Lake Manyara; huge areas of virgin wilderness and the pristine silver beaches of Zanzibar and Pemba. Over 25% of Tanzania is either a game reserve, national park or a controlled area. The quality of Tanzanian lodges and the general infrastructure has improved in recent years. Your Tanzania safari can be sublimely luxurious, wildly adventurous or suitable for the more modest budget. We offer private guides and exclusive use of a vehicle on our safaris.

| Tanzania Safaris - When and How to tour Tanzania |
|
The best time to see the Wildebeest and Zebra migration in Tanzania is between May and September and the best time for large predators is June to October. There are two rainy seasons; the short rains from November to January bring afternoon showers whereas the long rains from late March to early June mean longer, more severe downpours. From June onwards, the temperature rises agreeably and the drier weather makes the southern Parks of Selous and Ruaha more accessible. The coastal areas of Zanzibar and the Indian Ocean and southern Tanzania are generally hot and humid all year round, with cool breezes from June to September. We will adapt your itinerary to make sure that you visit the most game-rich areas at any time.
