Day 1

Fly from Maun to Okavango Delta, 2 nights seasonal water camp

Day 1

On arrival in Maun, you are met and transferred by light aircraft to an Okavango water or seasonal water camp for 2 nights. The Okavango Delta is Africa’s largest and most beautiful oasis - an isolated, lush green paradise with some of the richest wildlife in the world. It is a maze of waterways, lagoons, vast grassy plains and palm-fringed and wooded islands and is home to a wide array of animals and birds. At your water camp, game viewing is predominantly by motorboat, as well as game walks with an experienced and armed guide on the delta’s islands. The evocative mokoro trips are in shallower waters, water levels permitting. Click here for more information on the Okavango Delta

Day 3

Fly to Moremi Game Reserve, 2 nights more land-based camp

Day 3

Today you are transferred by air to a predominantly land-based camp. The Moremi Wildlife Reserve forms the eastern boundary of the Okavango Delta. The Moremi is known for its predators, both of the mammal and feathered variety. Being a National Park, night drives and game walks are not permitted in the Moremi but the quality of the game-viewing on your game drives more than makes up for this. Click here for more information on the Moremi Game Reserve

Chief's Camp lies on Chief’s Island within a private concession of the Moremi - an area of unsurpassed predator sightings. Twelve luxurious and secluded tented suites offer some of the finest accommodation in Botswana - spacious, light and airy.

Superior Option
Nxabega Tented Camp lies in a private Okavango Delta concession on the western border of the Moremi. The lodge has been beautifully hand crafted and designed so that its open-plan dining room, lounge, wildlife library, and expansive sundecks all offer unobstructed views over the beautiful and seemingly endless floodplains.  Nxabega aims to make your safari experience just a little bit different with bush picnics in stunning settings, cocktails on a Delta island or alfresco dinners under the lanterns.

Day 6

On Safari

Game-viewing in the Chobe National Park remains good throughout the year but of course peaks in  the dry season when huge herds of up to 500 or more elephants congregate to drink from the Chobe river. Lion are common in the Chobe National Park, and almost expected, with buffalo, cheetah and an amazing variety of antelope often sighted. Typically you enjoy an open landrover game drive in the early morning returning to the lodge for a late brunch. The afternoon game activity is often a boat cruise on the Chobe river, when you can spot the animals coming to the river to quench their thirst as the sun sets.
Fully Inclusive

Accommodation:  Choice of Chobe Chilwero (Luxury) or Chobe Game Lodge (Superior)

Day 7
