Camps Bay, Clifton and Bantry Bay
The trendy and exclusive Atlantic Seaboard areas of Camps Bay, Clifton and Bantry Bay bring out Cape Town's Mediterranean aspect. Spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean, dramatic crimson sunsets, palm trees swaying against white sandy beaches and alfresco pavement dining are very much the norm, and yet you’re only 10 minutes drive from the city.

City Bowl
The charm of Cape Town is partly explained by Table Mountain, which breaks up the city into distinct areas, each with its own character and, indeed, its own weather! The city bowl basks in the dramatic shadow of the 1000m mountain, with its characteristic ‘tablecloth’ of mist rolling over the edge. The leafy streets have plenty of excellent neighbourhood restaurants, cafes and clubs as well as interesting shops and galleries. The Waterfront, the beaches and the Table Mountain cable car are all only ten minutes drive away so its an idea area to stay in if you like to be close to everywhere..

Constantia and the Southern Suburbs
Cape Town's southern suburbs of Constantia, Newlands and Tokai reflect yet another side of Cape Town, reminiscent of its gracious colonial past. Majestic oak trees and endless swathes of roses and blue agapanthus are set against the forested slopes of Table Mountain. The Constantia is also a prime winegrowing area and many of Hotels are set on wine estates so that you can enjoy wine-tasting, cellar tours and vineyard strolls as well as Cape Town’s city delights. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are in this part of the city and are an essential visit. Yet Cape Town's city centre is 15 to 20 minutes away by car and beaches are only ten minutes away.

Milnerton and False Bay
Milnerton offers splendid views of the mother city's most famous landmark - Table Mountain, sandy beaches and is only 15 minutes drive to the V&A Waterfront.

The False Bay coast stretches from Muizenberg through St James to Simonstown. Here the lodges enjoy glorious views of the coastline and across to the Boland mountains on the otherside of the bay. You are close to the beaches and the outdoor delights of the Cape Peninsula and yet can easily enjoy the delights of the city and Waterfront aswell (40 to 60 mins depending on lodge location).

V&A Waterfront
The fashionable Waterfront is ideal for visitors who wish to have plenty of restaurants, shops and cafes within walking distance. The evening shopping at the Waterfront is great if you have only a little time and its centrality means that a car is by no means essential. Take a cruise around the Bay or visit the former Robben Island Prison.
