Overview

Singita Sabora Tented Camp recreates an enchanted time. The 1920s and '30s were a golden age for those who had both an adventurous nature and the means to go on safari. Now at Sabora, that bygone era has been reborn in the seemingly endless plains of the Grumeti. These plains that encompass the horizon, the great vault of the sky overhead and are home to the timeless passage of wildlife beyond number. To be in such a wild and elemental world is unforgettable. The unique attribute of Sabora is to experience it in contemporary levels of comfort and in a colonial style. There are only nine luxury tents spaced out on the crest of a ridge with a viewing deck and dining room in the centre. From here the you can see the whole vista while dining in the grandest manner.

Camp Activities

The camp is in the 350,000 acre Grumeti Reserves in Northern Tanzania. There are daily game drives with professional guides and trackers. This is just the perfect place to get up close to Africa’s incredible animals day and night. The wide open spaces teem with game of all sizes and spot-lit night time drives reveal the elusive magic of Africa after dark. The game drives are in carefully modified Land Cruisers, each accommodating a maximum of six guests. During your stay at Singita Sabora you are likely to spot a great variety of wildlife including cheetah, bearded wildebeest, bat eared fox, black rhino, Maasai giraffe, lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, zebra and the rare Colobus monkey. There is also a gym and a spa.

Singita Sabora Accommodation

The luxury tents are decorated in colonial style but have all the comforts you could want. There is even air conditioning for the bed area. The claw foot bath has views over the plains and each tent has its own veranda with a  romantic lounger .
