Lake Burunge Tented Camp

CEDARBERG RATING

Comfortable

Overview

Lake Burunge Tented Camp has a peaceful location, right on the shores of Lake Burunge. It is situated  in the migratory corridor of Manyara and Tarangire. This is a permanent luxury tented safari camp, just 10 minutes from the Tarangire National Park in Northern Tanzania. The serene location ensures a quiet restful stay whilst having the benefit of easy access to one of the most uncrowded and least explored wildlife rich areas of Tanzania.

Enjoy the magnificent views of the lake and listen to the prolific birdlife from the central lounge and bar/dining area built on a raised wooden deck. This elevated wooded platform is the ideal place for guests to relax and enjoy a sundowner whilst the sun sets over the lake, or to simply sit and enjoy the warm fire place in the evenings whilst swapping tales of your day's activities with other guests and your hosts. Lake Burunge Tented Camp also features an outside viewing deck that boasts uninterrupted 360 degree views of Lake Burunge and the bush beyond.
