Singita continues to maintain its worldwide repute as one of the World's finest and most exclusive safari companies. Singita Lebombo and its sister camp, Singita Sweni, are located in a private 15,000ha concession in the central Kruger National Park (and are collectively known as Singita Kruger). Singita Lebombo lies in the foothills of the Lebombo mountains which form the eastern edge of the Kruger National Park. Singita Lebombo is on a ridge with panoramic views of the surrounding bush.

Designed with style and sophistication, the suites at Singita Lebombo sit perched like eagle's nests on the basalt cliff tops facing the ancient Lebombo mountains. Floor to ceiling glass walls ensure that you have a 360° view as you relax under the slatted roof of woven branches. The suites are very modern - much use of white, funky glass chandeliers and stylish furniture. There's a decadent open plan bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers and a large game-viewing deck with your own day bed. Other amenities include air-conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, safe and telephone. The public areas at Singita Lebombo are open to the elements and very glamorous with signature pieces of furniture, modern glass chandeliers and an overwhelming sense of space here and indeed a feeling of being part of the surrounding bush.

Singita Lebombo offers excellent game-viewing with the emphasis placed on viewing large herds of plains game than on individual predator sightings. Nevertheless Singita is particularly known for its excellent lion sightings with two large prides in their private concession. Given the varying terrain between the central Kruger and the private game reserves of the Sabi Sands, time and budget permitting you might like to combine two nights here with two nights at Singita Ebony or Singita Boulders…

Singita Lebombo is also unusual in that it offer a range of active safari activities as well as 4x4 game drives. Great emphasis is placed on bush walks with an armed ranger; you can try game-viewing on mountain bike whilst archery is also on offer.

The cuisine at Singita Lebombo is a definite highlight and dining takes place in a variety of settings, in their star lit boma, the unusual indoor/outdoor dining area or in the seclusion of your room. There's a fully stocked wine cellar wine with informal wine-tasting presentations offered by Singita's resident sommelier, and great emphasis is placed on choosing the finest wines.

The Singita Trading Post with its stylish African craft boutiques, gallery showing leading South African artworks, interactive centre as well as the well-equipped gym and Spa. Huge glass walls bring the bush feel right into the gym and spa with its range of treatment rooms, steam room and outdoor shower. A perfect way to spend a couple of hours in between game drives.
