Savute Elephant Camp in the Chobe National Park, is set on the edge of the Savute Channel, amidst towering acacia trees. Accommodation is in 12 luxurious air-conditioned tents with private timber decks, spacious en suite facilities and dressing area. One of the features of the camp is its specially constructed 'elephant proof' heated swimming pool. Game, including a resident pride of lion, may be viewed from open safari vehicles during morning and evening drives into the park, whilst from your private deck, huge herds of elephant can be seen coming to drink at the waterhole, arriving and departing from sunrise to sunset. Savute is also renowned for its excellent birding during the summer months (Dec to March) and the treasury of Bushman rock paintings is a special attraction.
