On the edge of the Laikipia Plateau and Samburu land, Sabuk looks over the Ewaso Nyiro River, which runs through a gorge 150 feet below. Five en suite bedrooms are comfortably furnished and unique, built with the natural materials and features of the hillside incorporated into the open plan design.
There is a lot of game in the area; Highlights are Greater Kudu, Reticulated Giraffe, buffalo, impala, elephant, warthog, klipspringer, zebra, eland, dikdik, waterbuck, lion, leopard, good bird watching and incredible scenery. Take walks with camels and their Samburu handlers, following ancient trails and visiting fossilized lake beds, tracking the prints of lion and elephant, then cool off with a swim in the river or a natural rock pool.
