Nxabega Safari Lodge lies in a private Okavango Delta concession on the western border of the Moremi wildlife reserve. The lodge has been beautifully hand crafted and designed so that its open plan dining room, lounge, wildlife reference library, and expansive sundecks all offer unobstructed views over the endless floodplains of the Okavango Delta. Situated under African Ebony and Strangler Fig Trees, Nxabega’s nine luxurious safari tents are on raised platforms with private sundecks. Beautiful details such as burnished teak floors, huge wooden bowls full of chillies and a solitaire game made from local vegetable ivory pods add a signature style to Nxabega Safari Lodge. Other facilities include a raised game-viewing platform and plunge pool for cooling off during the warm days. Guests have a choice of daily activities including meandering along the floodplains and channels by mokoro or tracking big game on foot or by open 4x4-safari vehicle.

Coleen and Lize stayed here in April: "We like Nxabega very much. General areas are big & stylish and it offers good value for money. It?s a permanent water camp and therefore multi-activity which is important in the Delta.
The main area is huge and beautifully appointed, with teak floors, windows and door-frames. Inviting leather couches, beautiful prints and clay pots forms the basis of the main area. Includes an inside & outside dining area and a swimming pool. The tented rooms are more standard with a small bathroom at the back of the tent with shower, basin and loo. Your private verandah overlooks the grasslands and you might be lucky to spot some water antelope. We had a big hippo enjoying the water (and grass) in front of our tent just before we went to bed."
