Loldia Farm, on the western shores of Lake Naivasha. Family-owned by the descendents of a settler who arrived by ox-wagon after the Boer War. This stone-built farmhouse nestles under acacia and wild fig trees and takes 18 guests. The lawns are grazed at night by hippos from the lake and there are fine views of Mount Longonot, a dormant Volcano. Boat trips are arranged on Lake Naivasha for fishing and bird watching. Visits can be made to Hell's Gate with its spectacular canyon, hot springs and abundant wildlife. Loldia is ideally situated to visit the flamingo lakes of Nakuru, Elementaita or Bogoria. Guests can also ride or walk amid cattle, ostriches, impala, waterbuck and other plains game on the farm.
