Xigera Camp is in one of the most beautiful parts of the Okavango Delta on 'Paradise Island', a private concession within Moremi game reserve. Xigera has permanent water year-round, yet there are lots of large islands in the area that hold good concentrations of animals, including the including red lechwe, lion, leopard, the highest density of the rare sitatunga antelope in the Delta, as well as wonderful waterbirds. It is the perfect land and water activity camp, with game drives, walking safaris, mekoro and boating trips for game-viewing and fishing on offer. The eight luxury tents are stylish and comfortable, with fans, en suite facilities and an outdoor shower under the stars. They're linked by walkways to the main lodge.

He knew all the birds, took us on two boat trips, one game drive and one very exciting game walk where we cam across a leopard sitting by the edge of the road just twenty paces from us! Saw Pels Fishing Owl, Slaty Egret, Rufous-bellied Heron, Wattled Crane, Pygmy Goose - all new to me - 95 in all in a 2 night stay."
