Kate stayed here with her family in July 2005: "I really enjoyed our stay here and would strongly recommend a three night stay if at all possible. Families who like outdoor pursuits would enjoy a four night stay.
It's a well-run, well-maintained mountain resort hotel. It was looking fresh with newly decorated rooms and public areas. Everything is run like a well oiled machine with a range of guided activities on offer. There’s a choice of two or three guided walks each day, one leaving at 8am, one at 9am (shorter) and one in the afternoon (winter only). There’s also beginner’s horse-riding, intermediate horse-riding. Everything leaves on time. The range of sports facilities is extensive and well-maintained. There’s a sports room where you hire tennis rackert, badminton, golf clubs for the putt-putt, croquet bowls etc.
Very child friendly with separate children’s dining area which doubles up as a children’s playroom. Children can also eat with their parents and then head to the children's room to watch a movie whilst their parents finish their meal at their leisure. There’s also an older children’s games room as well. Our clients generally stay in the deluxe rooms. The executive rooms are worth considering if you want to pamper yourselves a little more.
The hotel’s clientele is a mix of people just wanting to chill out, families and keen walkers." |
