The Belle Mare Plage is set in lush tropical gardens along a magnificent coral protected white sandy 2km beach. Each air-conditioned room opens onto a balcony facing the gardens and the sea. Each offers satellite TV, telephone, internet access, minibar and bathroom with separate bath and shower. The 20 new super-luxury villas have private pools and an outdoor shower within an individual walled garden and are tended to by a butler. The hotel has five restaurants, two bars and two restaurants and bars at their golf clubhouse. The leisure facilities include two swimming pools, kids club, four tennis courts, mini-golf, bowls, table tennis and watersports include complimentary windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, snorkelling, pedalos, laser sailing, galss bottom boat trips and water-skiing.
The Shiseido Pavillion is the hotel's Spa and offers Shisheido Qi Method treatments as well as a gym, sauna. Steam bath, plunge pool, Jacuzzi, squash courts and aqua-aerobics.
However, it is perhaps for golf that it is best known - two 18 hole champion courses, The Legend and The Links, are laid out in tropical splendour close to the hotel. Each is a real challenge for the skilled and the amateur and play host to the Mauritius Open. The clubhouse includes a pro shop, golf clinic, restaurant and bar. |
