The intimate Paradise Cove is the smallest 5 star hotel on Mauritius, with just 47 deluxe rooms and 20 suites. The hotel curves charmingly around the secluded cove at Anse la Raie, not far from Grand Baie but detached from the resort. Mari and Milandi visited in April 2005: "Paradise Cove Hotel is 60 km from airport/5 km from Grand Bay. The 67 rooms were completely renovated in 2003. "My Opinion: This is a beautiful hotel and because it is smaller, it’s perfect for weddings! But as the beach is man-made it was a little disappointing. On the other hand it is a private beach and therefore exclusive and perfect for honeymooners. The décor is truly unique and is painted with a strong eastern feeling. All their staff seems to be very eager to please. As Paradise Cove is also on the north coast the weather is stunning."
