Chitabe lies south of the Moremi on one of the most beautiful islands of the Okavango delta, boasting an incredible variety of habitats, including marshland, waterways, woodland and open grassland. The camp itself is as stunning as the area: luxurious tents built on elevated wooden decks under a cool canopy of trees. Raised walkways lead to the pool deck and thatched lodge. Chitabe focuses on land activities - game walks and 4x4 game drives – with spectacular bird-watching. Two elevated hides allow you to experience a 'sleep-out' under the stars. Major attractions include good populations of elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and cheetah. It's also known for its wild dog populations.
