This exclusive camp is built just below the mountain top providing a cool refuge from the spectacular desert scenery below. Each of the 9 secluded chalets is superbly appointed and offers comfort and atmosphere and a private plunge pool. The thatched main living area has an outdoor deck for dining under the stars. Activities centre round early morning excursions in 4x4 vehicles to the magnificent Sossusvlei dunes. Here you enjoy wonderful desert breakfasts under shady acacia trees surrounded by the dunes. Afternoon nature trails on the reserve highlight its unique fauna and flora. Hot air ballooning is an optional extra. On the edge of the oldest desert in the world, game is sparse but fascinating. springbok, gemsbok, ostrich, bat-eared fox and aardwolf can all be viewed.
