Zibalianja, in the Linyanti Swamps, is a charming tented camp on a palm-fringed island overlooking the Zibalianja Lagoon and the open floodplains. The lounge/dining area is under canvas with a communal dining table. To the front, built around a shade tree, is the quirky thatched bar and raised viewing platform. Each large and airy Meru-style tent is on a raised wooden deck with en suite open-air facilities and solar power. This is the domain of the big cats and game-viewing is both private and riveting. Game-viewing activities include morning and afternoon/evening drives by 4x4 vehicles and game walks in the vicinity of the camp. Boat cruises on the Zibalianja lagoon offers fine fishing (at certain times of the year) and the opportunity of viewing the Linyanti Swamps by boat (water levels permitting). Every full moon, you also have the opportunity to take part in the monthly game counts.

Additional Info on Selinda Camp, its sister lodge: Selinda Lodge is situated on the banks of the eastern Selinda spillway among shaded riverine forest overlooking the Selinda floodplains in the Linyanti Reserve. The camp is very small and intimate, accommodating only 12 guests in large, airy, well-appointed Meru tents under thatch, with double or twin beds and en suite shower and toilet. The two-tiered thatched dining, lounge and reading area is centrally situated with a commanding view of the Selinda channel and its floodplains. There's a plunge pool for cooling off during the day.
