Mushara Lodge and Mushara Villas | Namibia

[Namibia Hotels and Accommodation]
Mushara Lodge and Mushara Villas have a prime location 8km from Etosha National Park. Mushara is known for delicious Namibian cuisine and friendly efficient service. The main lodge at Mushara uses wooden screens to create cosy seating areas with leather sofas, kilims, throws and Namibian paintings and there are 10 spacious air-conditioned en suite thatch chalets, each with mosquito nets, minibar and telephone. There’s a welcoming pool for cooling off and Mushara’s morning and afternoon guided game drives into Etosha National Park are very popular.

Mushara also has two ultra-luxurious villas, Mushara Villas, which are exquisitely furnished with a separate sitting room, decadent bathroom, private plunge pool and a private sala in the bush. Recommended for honeymooners and all romantics!

Kate visited in November:
"This is the sister lodge of Etosha Aoba and slightly more expensive. Though I preferred the ambiance and intimacy of Aoba, Mushara does have certain advantages: the rooms were larger and they were also air-conditioned and had mini-bars. This is important in the summer months (Dec to March). Mushara is also closer to park which is again very important in the summer months when you would want to take drives in the early morning and late afternoon and return to your lodge for a siesta or swim in the middle of the day. Finally they have their own open game drives into the park (which Etosha Aoba guests are welcome to join as well)."
