Woodall Country is an idyllic five star country house hotel in the Eastern Cape, minutes from the Addo Elephant National Park, on a working citrus farm. Woodall offers you peace, tranquillity and good food. The restaurant, overlooking the pretty dam, has been extended to provide a large covered outdoor sitting area which is backed by two indoor areas. The four Cape-style luxury cottages and seven more modern suites all have private patios or sundecks for enjoying the fresh air, as well as air-conditioning, ceiling fan, separate bath and shower, outside shower, minibar, hifi, telephone, bathrobes and tea/coffee facilities. There's also a health and beauty spa with three treatment rooms, chill out room and sauna offering a range of treatments, as well as a well equipped gym. Daily game drives into Addo Elephant Park in Woodall's luxury open top game-viewing vehicle are also on offer.

A number of the suites are suitable for families with enough space for sofa beds or sometimes a separate annex room for children. We particularly recommend either the new African suites or Suite 11 which has its own private courtyard garden and small swimming pool.

"Woodall has undergone a major transformation in the last few years and offers really smart accommodation. Their suites have proved so popular that they have extended two of their rooms to offer 7 suites and 4 rooms. Given the relatively small price difference, I would say it is definitely worth the increase to stay in the suites. Woodall offers excellent spacious family accommodation.

They are really making the most of their attractive dam setting. Their spa has proved popular with three treatment rooms and a new gym set slightly apart from the accommodation (given the noise of running machines)."
