Stanley Safari Lodge borders the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, close to Victoria Falls. This owner-managed lodge is reminiscent of a traditional 1920's safari experience. Attention to detail is delivered with style: starched linen on your mahogany four poster bed, fresh flowers and interesting artefacts from the area. With only 7 private cottages and suites Stanley Safari Lodge is able to give you an unmatched level of personal service.
Each luxury cottage or suite is individually designed and decorated with local materials. Accommodation ranges from double rooms, to the honeymoon suite - with its own fireplace and plunge pool. All have their own private garden and dining area. Four are open-sided to enjoy the unique view across the bush to the spray of the mighty Zambezi River and the Victoria Falls - but the rest are enclosed for those who prefer it.
The main house provides the setting for candlelit French-style cuisine; alternatively you can dine under the stars on the lawn or in the privacy of your own room. Spend your days enjoying the Victoria Falls area, reading in the library or relaxing by the pool, perhaps spotting elephants at the nearby waterhole. Activities include game drives, canoe trips or visits to a handicraft workshop to learn how to make baskets and other crafts.
