Little Ongava | Namibia

[Namibia Hotels and Accommodation]
Inspired by the spectacular panoramas and cool breezes that the Ongava hilltops provide, Little Ongava provides the most luxurious accommodation in Namibia. Each spacious suite commands a private view of the waterhole and plains below. Chill out in your own rimflow pool, relax in the indoor/outdoor bathroom and shower, or enjoy a siesta in your private ‘sala’ tucked away in a rock formation. The lounge area lends itself to relaxed stylish dining under an African sky however meals can be served in your suite if you prefer making Little Ongava perfect for honeymooners and those seeking utter seclusion. Activities include game drives in open 4x4 vehicles into Etosha, as well as night drives and nature walks in their private reserve. With its resident White and Black Rhino, rhino tracking on foot is one of the most popular activities at Ongava. Guesta also have the chance to see elephant, lion, eopard, cheetah and the plains species. Keen birders may see various species from a Pygmy Falcon to some of Namibia’s endemic species such as Hartlaub’s Francolin, the Barecheeked Babbler or Ruppel’s Parrot.

Kate stayed at the luxurious Little Ongava in November:
"What can I say? the most stylish and luxurious accommodation in Namibia at the moment. Three suites are perched on the rock overlooking the African plains. You have a bird's eye view of a waterhole where we saw three black rhino in the evening. The suites are mini-houses all set well away from each other and away from the lodge so you do a bit of walking! Each suite has a huge sitting room, a large bedroom, a dressing room, glass-walled full bathroom (no-one can possibly see you) and outside there a wooden deck with a rimflow plunge pool, shaded area with wooden loungers. From the bathroom, you walk out to a outdoor shower and a path leads you to a sala area for daytime siestas. The whole suite is beautifully decorated in a gentle contemporary style. It is almost over-designed with various different lights each with five mood settings!

If you have the money, go for it as it is wonderfully indulgent!"
